English Instruction

I am a certified teacher of English as a Foreign Language. I have created my own immersive English curriculum following a logical sequence of skills. I only speak English in the classroom and I help your child understand meaning and intent with my actions, visual supports, and activities. We begin our sessions together based on the child's previous knowledge. I use real objects, songs, picture books, and fun activities to teach new concepts.

Each lesson has a similar flow that is predicable and simple for the child to follow. A sample lesson flow is:
- Welcome and Hello!
- Calendar and Weather
- Alphabet
- New Concept Introduction
- Read-Aloud (featuring new concept)
- Activity (craft, game, or work centered on the new concept)
- Review and Goodbye!
